RIM launched the Blackberry Bold 9000 smartphone. It’s got some nice specs — 624 Mhz processor, integrated GPS and 3G - plus that tactile keyboard that crackberry users love so much… some people are thrilled… others… not so much.

RIM also announced a $150 million dollar investment fund for applications and services. Apple and Google have funds too - but Blackberry has the biggest installed base of any smartphone already in place. So why are they doing this? Maybe they’re nervous about iPhone 2.0?

…because it looks like June 9th is the big launch day for that fabulous 3G iPhone. Steve Jobs is the keynote speaker at the WWDC, and now even the Apple store online is out of stock of the original…and what is iPhone black?

Sprint didn’t do so well this quarter. They’ve lost a million customers. Remember that WiMax announcement? They claim that’s part of their strategy to turn things around.

It’s bad enough we’re inundated with spam in our email inboxes - it’s going to be annoying and costly when it starts hitting our cell phones.

Powerset says they’ve come up with a more naturalized search engine. You should be able to ask a question instead of just plugging in keyboards. It only works on the Wiki right now, and not very well, actually.
